New Mexico Transfer on Death Deed
A New Mexico transfer on death deed is used to convey property ownership to a named party upon the death of the transferor. After the deed is recorded, the transferor maintains full rights to the property and may revoke the form at any time. Unlike a last will and testament, this type of document does not require probate in order for the property to be transferred to the new owner.
