A South Carolina firearm bill of sale records a transaction between two parties wherein a firearm changes ownership. The make, model, action, caliber or gauge, serial number, and purchase price of the firearm will be provided on the form by the seller. A bill of sale is not legally required when completing the transfer of a private firearm.
