A Nevada advance directive is a medical planning document that defines a person’s health care preferences should they become mentally or physically incapacitated. It has two sections: the medical power of attorney to appoint a health care agent, and the living will (called a “declaration” in Nevada) to provide instructions for end-of-life treatments.
