Maryland limited power of attorney is a document that an individual can use to select a representative to act on their behalf for a specific task or set of tasks. In the form, the person creating the power of attorney is referred to as the “Principal” and the representative is called their agent. The Maryland statutory form provides the principal with a large variety of powers they can bestow on their designated agent. They’ll need to initial those that apply, indicate the termination and effective date, and sign the completed form where applicable.
