How to Format

Layout

  • Pages cannot be greater than 8.5 by 14 inches in size.[1]
  • Though not required by state statutes, some county recorders have margin requirements for recording information.[2]

Signatures

Deeds must be signed by the transferor and acknowledged before a notary public to be recorded.[3]

Recording

Deeds are submitted to the County Recorder for filing.[4] Filing costs $15 for the first 30 pages and $3 for each additional page.[5]
