Notice Requirements
Landlords only need to notify tenants once that they may end a lease if rent is 5 days late. Once notified, a landlord does not need to give any other notice before filing for eviction.[1]
The notice may also be included in the lease to satisfy this requirement, eliminating the need to serve a notice to quit before terminating a tenant’s lease.
