California Grant Deed Form

A California grant deed transfers a property between two parties and protects the grantee against any title defects arising out of the grantor’s ownership. However, the document doesn’t warrant against unresolved issues from previous owners. In California, grant deeds are generally used in place of warranty deeds as title insurance protects buyers against encumbrances.
