Recording Requirements

  • Deeds must be signed by the grantor and notarized to be valid for recording.[1]
  • There are no statutory, state-wide formatting requirements. Deeds must comply with the standards set by their County Clerk’s office.

Deeds can be filed with the appropriate County Clerk’s office for recording.[2] The cost of filing is $25.[3]
