A North Dakota non-disclosure agreement establishes a confidentiality relationship between two (2) parties, restricting the sharing of sensitive, proprietary information. The information protected by an NDA can include any product design, test result, technical procedure, field study, or other knowledge that holds a commercial value so long as it remains private. Should the protected information be unfairly used or shared with unauthorized parties, a lawsuit may be filed against the violating party to prevent additional misuse and ensure the information remains protected.
