A Montana non-disclosure agreement is a contract whereby an entity or individual agrees not to share sensitive information with outside parties. The agreement may be mutual, meaning both parties share and own the information, or unilateral, meaning a sole party has ownership over the material. Trade secrets, marketing plans, experimental results, and patent applications are some common examples of information that an NDA may be used to protect.
