Signing Requirements
The Idaho POST form must be signed by the patient or their surrogate and a physician.[1]
An Idaho do not resuscitate form allows patients with serious, life-limiting conditions to instruct medical staff not to resuscitate them should their heart or breathing stop. A DNR is included in Idaho’s Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment form, which also provides options for patients to select other end-of-life treatments, artificial nutrition, medicine, and blood products.
