A Wisconsin subcontractor agreement is used to establish a subcontractor’s rights and duties relating to a task assigned by a general contractor. The completed form will provide an overview of the job, including the location of the worksite, payment details, how completion will be determined, and whether there are any work deadlines. The general contractor may also authorize the subcontractor to hire personnel by drafting similar agreements with other individuals, although the additional agreements must comply with the initial document.

By executing the document, the parties agree to the terms therein and to resolve any contractual disputes by obtaining a neutral party to mediate the conflict, who will be compensated equally by both parties.
