South Carolina 30-day Notice to Quit is a form that can be used by either the landlord or the tenant to notify the other party of their intent to terminate a month-to-month tenancy. Failure on the tenant’s part to vacate the residence within the time given could result in the landlord beginning ejectment proceedings against them. Neither party is required to give cause for termination and can quit the lease at any point providing the statutorily prescribed thirty-day warning to the other party.
