Breach of NDA

Failing to uphold an NDA can have legal ramifications. In Louisiana, parties have up to ten years from the date that a contract breach occurs to seek damages.[1]

To file a claim against trade secret misappropriation, parties have up to three years from the date of discovery.[2]

Trade Secret: Defined

Under Louisiana law, information that meets the below criteria is considered a trade secret[3]:
