The Kentucky motor vehicle power of attorney (Form TC96-336) is a form that grants the owner(s) of a motor vehicle the ability to appoint another individual (the “attorney-in-fact”) to represent them in vehicle-related transactions. They may carry out tasks that may include the transfer of ownership and disclosure of milage of the aforementioned vehicle. This is a limited power of attorney, meaning its powers do not extend beyond what is described on the form. This form should be forwarded to the county clerk along with the title and registration application.
Signing Requirements – Must be signed by the vehicle owner(s) and certified by a notary public.
