A Maryland rental application form is a document that landlords provide potential tenants to screen them by obtaining their personal information, rental history, current employment, references, and credit score. If the tenant signs the document, they give the landlord permission to perform a full credit and background check. If the landlord approves the applicant after reviewing their application form and credit/background report, they will sign a lease agreement.
