A Missouri residential rental application provides landlords with a means of obtaining personal and financial information from individuals who are interested in renting residential property. By completing the form, the tenant consents to have their credit score and criminal history investigated. In the document, the applicant is asked to list their current employment, income, and rental history. Additionally, they will be required to provide at least two (2) personal references who can attest to their identity and character. If the landlord chooses to apply this screening process, it is customary for them to charge an application fee.
