The North Carolina rental application form is a document that individuals may be required to fill out and sign to apply for a residential. By giving applicants an application form, the landlord can implement an effective system for collecting their personal information (including SSN and driver’s license number), rental history, employment record, and references. Once it has been signed, the document permits the landlord to order a credit report and background check on the prospective tenant, who will usually be charged an application fee to cover the associated expenses.
