Utah Concealed Carry
In Utah, individuals who are 21 or older can carry a concealed weapon without a permit.
Although a Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) isn’t required, individuals can still apply for a Utah CFP from the Department of Public Safety by completing the following steps:
- Download and complete the Application for Concealed Firearm Permit or Provisional Concealed Firearm Permit.
- Photocopy the applicant’s driver’s license or ID.
- Obtain a passport-quality photo.
- Complete a fingerprint card with a trained fingerprint technician.
- Complete a certified concealed firearm training course and obtain a certificate of training to attach to the application.
- Applications, with all required forms and documentation attached, can be dropped off in person or mailed to the following address. A fee will be charged to the applicant.
