West Virginia Concealed Carry
Any resident over the age of 21 can carry a concealed handgun without a license as long as they are not prohibited by law.[2]
If an individual is looking to carry in reciprocating states, a concealed pistol/revolver license can still be obtained by following the steps below.
- Download and fill out the Application for Concealed Pistol/Revolver License.
- Complete a handgun training course and obtain a certificate of completion.[3]
- Attach copies of the certificate of completion and the applicant’s driver’s license or other state ID card to the application.
- All forms, documentation, and fees must be mailed or delivered in person to the Sheriff’s Department in the county in which the applicant resides.
