A Colorado motor vehicle power of attorney (Form DR-2175) assigns the authority to complete an individual’s vehicle transactions to a third party. The document lists the authorized actions, which include purchasing, selling, or titling a vehicle. The POA must be presented by the agent when carrying out the appointed tasks.

Form DR2174 (Secure Power of Attorney) – If the parties would like the agent to represent both buyer and seller, and disclose the vehicle mileage, they must use a secure power of attorney (can be purchased through an authorized vendor).
