Inventory & Move-In Checklist Requirements

Before entering a rental agreement, the landlord must provide a written inventory of the rental unit’s condition and allow the prospective tenant to conduct a walkthrough inspection of the premises.

After the tenant signs a lease, the owner must furnish a move-in checklist for the resident to record the state of the dwelling.[1]
