A Georgia independent contractor agreement is a contract between a freelance worker and their client that establishes the terms whereby the freelancer will provide services to the client. An independent contractor is self-employed, and therefore, is not subject to the client’s management and rules. However, they will need to work in accordance with their agreement. The completed contract will define the services provided, payment amount and timing, the agreement’s termination date, and the date by which the project must be completed.
