The Missouri 10-day notice to quit for illegal activity is delivered to a tenant to inform them that they have ten (10) days to vacate due to a violation involving illegal activity. Violations punishable by eviction include gambling, prostitution, and possession or sale of a controlled substance. Following receipt of the notice, the tenant will have (10) days to vacate the premises without the possibility to cure. If the tenant fails to vacate the premises after ten (10) days, the landlord may commence an unlawful detainer action to evict them from the leased space.
