The Nebraska 5-day notice to quit for illegal activity is used when a tenant, occupant, or other person on the premises with the tenant’s consent engages in violent or illegal activity. Actions that warrant the use of this notice include, but are not limited to, physical assault or the threat thereof, illegal use of a weapon or firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and any other actions that threaten the safety of the property or anyone on the premises.
