A New Hampshire 30-day notice to quit is used by landlords to terminate lease agreements with tenants who rent on a monthly basis. The document relays that the lease will be terminated and the tenant must leave the rental unit by the end of the thirty (30) day period following the date of service. Tenants may also use this form to terminate their monthly tenancy with their landlord. In the event that the tenant holds over their tenancy and refuses to vacate the rental unit, the landlord can file an eviction action in court to have the tenant removed by law enforcement.
