The South Dakota immediate notice to quit is a form used by property managers and landlords to immediately vacate a tenant who has committed waste or violated their lease agreement. The notice will explain the damage done to the property, whether there are actions that can be taken to remedy the breach, and it will inform the tenant that if they do not comply, a lawsuit will be filed against them. This is an optional notice in South Dakota, as there are no statutes that dictate that a landlord must provide a tenant with a notice to quit should the tenant violate the rental agreement.
