The representative, referred to as the “attorney-in-fact,” will be limited to executing documents and performing the acts authorized in the power of attorney with regard to the vehicle for which it was created.

The vehicle’s title number, year, make, model, identification number (VIN), color, license plate number, and current odometer reading must be provided. When applying for a vehicle title and registration, the attorney-in-fact will need to submit applications to the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD).
