An Arizona sublease agreement is designed to enable an individual leasing property from a landlord to rent all or a portion of said property to another tenant (“subtenant” or “sublessee”). The original tenant (“sublessor”) will have to obtain permission from their landlord before subleasing any part of the rental unit. If the landlord allows subleasing, the tenant will present the sublessee with a sublease agreement so they can go over the terms of the contract. The agreement will cover provisions such as total space being sublet, length of lease, rent amount, security deposits, utilities, liability, and methods of termination.
