An Idaho commercial lease agreement is a document used by landlords to establish a tenancy arrangement whereby commercial real estate is leased to a tenant for a fixed period. The agreement lays out the rights and responsibilities of both parties and identifies the consequences for violating the terms prescribed therein. The laws governing commercial tenancies are less defined than those concerning residential leases. As a result, a commercial lease agreement will be the principal reference in the event of a landlord-tenant dispute.
Lease Application – A lease application can be used to convey a potential tenant’s personal and business information to a landlord. If signed by the applicant, the landlord will be authorized to run a credit and background check.
