A New Hampshire residential rental application is filled and signed by prospective tenants to provide a landlord with their personal and financial information for screening purposes. The tenant will be required to give their employment, rental, and financial history, as well as references who can attest on their behalf. Furthermore, the signed document allows the landlord to conduct a background and credit check on the applicant. After reviewing the applications of all the interested parties, the landlord can select the best candidate for tenancy.
