An Oregon rental application is used by landlords to gather and evaluate the background information of lease applicants before authorizing a residential tenancy agreement. Applicants must provide basic personal details along with information that demonstrates their capacity to pay rent and maintain the property in its current condition. The lease applicant will also be asked to grant the landlord permission to perform inquiries necessary to evaluate their creditworthiness and criminal history.
