The South Dakota commercial lease agreement is an agreement between a landlord and a tenant for the leasing of a commercial property. Through the agreement, the tenant will be able to conduct their business out of the property in exchange for monthly rent payments. The document must state the rental price and contract term, as well as the rights and responsibilities of both parties. For instance, if the landlord should be given the right of re-entry to inspect or show their property, it must be included in the agreement. If the landlord or the tenant fails to uphold the terms of their agreement, there may be legal repercussions and court action.
