Move-In and Move-Out Inspections

Landlord’s Policy – Depending on the landlord’s policy, the inspection can be done by the landlord, the tenant, or the landlord and tenant together, within five days of occupancy.[1]

Tenant’s Rights – The landlord must provide a written notice to the tenant of their right to be present during the completion of the move-out checklist, which must be signed by both parties.[2]
