A Wisconsin commercial lease agreement is a legally binding document that defines the terms and conditions of a business entity or owner renting a landlord’s commercial real estate. In exchange for monthly payments, the tenant will be granted use of the landlord’s commercial property for business operations. The rental property can be used for any type of business allowed under zoning laws and the written agreement. Most commercial rental agreements have an initial term of three (3) to five (5) years to give the tenant a reasonable amount of time to make their business profitable.
