Alaska Boat Registration
All motorized boats must be registered in Alaska.[1] All boats longer than 24 feet must be titled.[2]
To register and/or title a vessel, new owners will have to carry out the following[3]:

- Complete the Boat Title and Registration Application (Form B1).
- Gather proof of ownership, such as:
- Bill of sale (registration only)
- Affidavit of Ownership (registration only)
- Certificate of Origin
- Statement of Origin
- Submit forms and fees either online, in-person at nearest DMV Office, or by mail to:

New owners of an undocumented boat (not registered with the US coast guard) have 30 days to title their vessel.[4]
