An Alaska motor vehicle bill of sale is a document used to provide the buyer of a vehicle with proof of ownership. The bill of sale is presented in conjunction with the vehicle’s title at a DMV center during registration. It should also contain the parties’ names, contact information, signatures, and the sale date.
