Missouri Concealed Carry
Residents of Missouri can carry a concealed handgun without a permit as long as they are at least 19 years old.[2]
Residents can apply for a concealed carry permit through their local sheriff’s office as follows[3]:
- Complete a certified gun safety course.
- Fill out the Concealed Carry Permit Application.
- Go to their local sheriff’s office and submit the documents, get fingerprinted, consent to a background check, and pay the fees.
- The applicant will be issued the permit within three days of passing the necessary background checks.
