Indiana Concealed Carry Permit
Permits are not required to carry a concealed handgun. However, individuals must be at least 18 and meet the eligibility criteria to conceal carry.
The Indiana State Police Department issues permits (known as a License to Carry a Handgun) free of charge; the steps below can be completed to obtain the permit.[1]
- Submit a Handgun License Application online.
- Schedule an appointment to submit fingerprints at a valid location.
- Complete the application process at a local law enforcement agency within 180 days.
