Wyoming Concealed Carry
Any Wyoming resident over the age of 21 may concealed or open carry a firearm without a permit.
A Wyoming Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) can be obtained if an individual wishes to concealed carry in reciprocating states. Applicants will have to follow the steps listed below.
- Complete training course or firearms competition and create a photocopy of the certificate or affidavit from the instructor.
- Download and complete the Concealed Firearm Permit Application; make three copies.
- Visit the county sheriff’s office and hand over all copies of the application form and the certificate or affidavit of training.
- The sheriff’s office will perform a background check and charge a service fee and an application fee.
- Within five days of submitting the application, the applicant must visit a DOT Driver’s Services office to have their picture taken for the permit.
