Mississippi Boat Registration

After purchasing a motorized boat, the new owner must register it with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) within 10 days by completing the following steps (online registration is also available):[1]

  1. Fill out a Mississippi Motor Boat Registration Application and attach the following:
  2. Submit the application and payment to the MDWFP Headquarters at the address below. After the application has been processed, a registration card and two decals will be issued to the owner.
