New Hampshire Boat Registration

Except for sailboats under 12 feet, rowboats, and canoes, all vessels in New Hampshire must be registered with the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Registration can be accomplished by submitting the following[1]:

The owner can contact the DMV Boat Registration office at (603) 227-4030 to confirm the necessary fees.[2] The required paperwork and fees can be submitted in person at a Drop Box Location or at an Authorized Boat Agent. It can also be sent in the mail to the following address:
