Alaska Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form 847) – This form can be used to assign a third party to purchase or register a vehicle on the owner’s behalf.
2. Determine Fees & TaxesThe cost of registering the vehicle can be determined by using the Alaska.gov Online Registration Fee Calculator.
3. File with the DMVTo transfer the title and register the vehicle, Form V-1, vehicle title, fees, and Form 847 (if applicable) must be filed in person at a local DMV office or mailed to the following address:
