Last updated July 2nd, 2025
A Colorado motor vehicle bill of sale documents a transaction where a buyer purchases a vehicle from a seller. Much like a receipt, the bill of sale verifies that the vehicle was sold, the price it was sold for, and the date of the sale. It also contains a description of the vehicle, which consists of the make, year, and vehicle identification number (VIN).
