The New Hampshire 30-day notice to quit (for non-compliance with lease) is a form that landlords will serve on tenants who have broken the terms of their lease. The document informs the tenant of the violation, how these violations can be cured, and that they have thirty (30) days to fix their violations or move out. Examples of lease violations include keeping pets, smoking, or allowing additional people to live in the rental unit when it is not permitted. Failure to comply with the notice will result in the tenant’s removal by court order.
