The Wyoming 3-day notice to quit for non-compliance is a mandatory eviction notice that is served on a tenant who has violated their lease agreement or their renter’s duties (as described in § 1-21-1204) disclosing that their tenancy is terminated and they will be required to move out in three (3) days. The landlord need not provide the tenant with an opportunity to retain their tenancy; however, depending on the violation, they may include a provision in the notice that describes what measures the tenant can take to stay on the property. Remaining on the premises beyond the notice term without an attempt to remedy the cause of the notice’s issuance will give the landlord grounds for eviction.
