Wyoming motor vehicle power of attorney is a form that authorizes an agent to perform vehicle-related services on behalf of an automobile owner (the “principal”). With a properly executed power of attorney, the agent can apply for an original certificate of title, request a replacement title, file for registration, obtain plates, and transfer ownership of a vehicle to another party.

The agent will need to present the document as evidence of their authority when dealing with the Wyoming Department of Transportation, county clerk’s office, county treasurer’s office, or other agencies where vehicle transactions occur. The agent should also be prepared to provide documentation verifying the principal’s ownership, such as a bill of sale or dealer’s invoice.
