A North Dakota commercial lease agreement is a rental agreement that permits a tenant to use the landlord’s commercial property to conduct their business in exchange for monthly rent. The tenant will generally opt to seek out real estate that is suited to their business needs, such as a retail storefront, a production facility, or an office space. However, it is not uncommon for the landlord to renovate the rental property to accommodate the tenant’s needs. Once both parties sign the lease, the agreement becomes legally binding and they must uphold the agreed-upon terms to avoid any legal dispute.
