The Nevada roommate agreement is a contract used by individuals living in a shared dwelling to assign responsibilities to each occupant and institute procedures for maintaining the premises. The contract offers occupants the ability to devise a cleaning schedule, impose visitor restrictions, designate areas for smoking, and divide the price of rent and other living expenses amongst the occupants. If necessary, supplemental provisions may be included as a separate attachment to the agreement. Note that the contract does not replace a lease, nor does it impact any terms previously established between the tenants and the landlord.
