The Oklahoma roommate agreement is a written document signed by a group of people sharing a rental space with the intention of establishing certain terms and conditions to create a sustainable living situation. This contract only pertains to the roommates; a separate residential lease agreement will be used to establish a rental arrangement with the landlord.
The roommate agreement contains provisions such as distribution of rent, deposits, and fees, the division of chores, guest policies, quiet times, common area usage, and the allowance of pets (if already permitted by the landlord). Once the agreement has been understood and agreed upon by all roommates, they can each sign the document to make it legally binding.
